The Hidden Treasure exhibit at Strandings Museum is a fast-paced immersive game where players search for shimmering treasure projected onto the ground and race to reveal it before time runs out. Designed for all ages, the experience combines fun, movement, and competition to create a highly engaging attraction that keeps visitors coming back for another round.
After ongoing reliability problems with the original third-party installation, our company was brought in to completely modernise the exhibit. We upgraded the system with high-end hardware and redeveloped the entire control infrastructure using our in-house Twilight Show Control Software (SCS), delivering a far more stable, responsive, and maintainable experience for the museum.
The installation uses a cutting-edge high-resolution depth sensing camera to accurately detect and track players in real time, paired with a ceiling-mounted projection system that transforms the floor into an interactive play space. To ensure long-term reliability, we also developed an automated calibration system that keeps the tracking perfectly aligned with minimal maintenance required from museum staff.
